About the Role
We’re seeking committed and skilled Disability Support Workers to join our team in supporting a participant with complex needs, including justice system involvement, mental health complexities and a history of behaviours of concern.
This is a specialist support role where your impact goes beyond day-to-day care — you’re part of a team creating predictable routines, safety, and opportunity for positive change.

Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality community access support
- Build and maintain safe, trusting, and professional relationships within the context of risk-aware boundaries
- Implement BSPs and follow PBS strategies consistently
- Monitor and respond to behaviours of concern in a calm, non-escalating manner, and record incident data clearly
- Support the participant’s transition goals, independence, and reengagement with community
- Engage in ongoing training and reflective practice.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of:
- Male
- Dinka language (highly preferred)
- Forensic disability support
- Trauma-informed care
- Risk management in community settings
- Positive Behaviour Support frameworks
- Professional boundaries and ethical decision-making
- Can stay calm under pressure, manage dynamic environments, and model predictability and respect.
To be considered for these vacancies, you must have:
- Cert IV in Disability
- Minimum 12 months experience supporting people with complex behaviours (ideally forensic experience)
- Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans and engaging in incident prevention
Desirable:
- Experience working with participants under Supervision Orders or Justice conditions
- Cultural safety knowledge
