Ability Assist has multiple vacancies available for Disability Support Workers to undertake casual shifts supporting children and/or adults living with a disability across Melbourne.
Whether you’ve got some experience or you’re just starting out – if you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll support you with the rest.

What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same, but you might:
- Support someone at school or during their evening routine
- Visit the library, park, or attend appointments
- Assist with communication, personal care, or mobility
- Be part of a positive, compassionate support team
Perks & Flexibility
- Shifts start from just 3 hours
- Weekdays and weekends available
- Weekend rates apply
- Full training and ongoing support provided
What You’ll Need
- A kind, can-do attitude
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- A valid Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Screening Check & First Aid Certificate, ability to safely transport clients, comprehensive car insurance.
