About the Role

We are seeking experienced, compassionate, female Disability Support Workers to join our team to support our clients with complex behaviours. If you thrive on building strong relationships and providing person-centred, high-quality support, it will be great to hear from you. 

We are supporting a young person with complex behaviours for a combination of shifts, ranging from 3 – 6 hours in the Deer Park area.  

Further shifts with other clients may be available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide person-centred, high-quality support in line with individual support plans
  • Support a client with high intensity needs, including behaviour management
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes
  • Work collaboratively with families and other professionals

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting people with disability and/or complex behaviours
  • Is empathetic, reliable, and emotionally intelligent
  • Can build trust and strong rapport with clients and families
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Stays calm under pressure and is a confident decision-maker
  • Brings resilience, reliability, and a genuine commitment to care

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Certificate IV in Disability (preferred) or a related qualification
  • Full Victorian Drivers’ Licence
  • Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Right to work in Australia
